Do I need prior experience in yoga? What level is the Maharishi YogaSM asana course?

No prior experience is needed to begin the Transcendental Meditation® technique or for the Yoga asanas, or any of our courses for that matter. Anyone from a beginner to the more experienced can attend the Experience the Self course and gain great benefits from it. How many tours may I take?

There are some tours everyone takes, like the Golden Dome tour, and others you pick. You can sign up for as many, or as few, as you like in your free time.

For an additional charge we offer massage, private lessons in sports and fitness including tennis, and climbing wall, plus helpful health assessments.

What’s in the town of Fairfield?

Fairfield may be a town of about 10,000 people in rural Iowa, but we enjoy our food so much that we have more restaurants per capita than San Francisco, including Chinese, Indian, Thai, Italian, French, and Mexican. Fairfield has become recognized throughout Iowa as one of the state’s important creative centers, with more than 20 art galleries and more. There’s plenty of shopping nearby, a movie theatre, commercial chain stores and coffee houses, so you have all the comforts of home, very close by.

Computers are available in the campus library, also at the local library nearby. We provide wireless Internet service in the Argiro student center.
